Welcome to my website and blog! I am so excited to have a place to share and connect with you about all things wellness.
Some of you have been following along with me since I started "Chick in the Kitchen" back in 2016. That account was where I explored my love of cooking, baking, and food photography. Like many of the greatest things in life, I am growing and evolving. My interest and passion for health and wellness, in addition to my love of food, has expanded over the past few years.
In 2018 I decided to enroll in a program with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), a cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. I have studied over 100 dietary theories, a variety of practical lifestyle management techniques and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts.
My education with IIN has equipped me with knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. With these skills and my own personal experiences, I am inspired to help others live life to the FULLEST and make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results, while creating vibrant health and happiness.
I decided to transition my brand into 'Be Well with Marissa' because it better embodies my well-rounded wellness motives and beliefs. I will still be sharing recipes, but I will also include other holistic health tips for movement & fitness, mind & body wellness, and other wellness practices that I find interesting or that I incorporate into my own day-to-day life.
